Centre City Council Approves Additional Costs for Aquatic Center Construction

CENTRE, Ala. - During the Centre City Council meeting Tuesday afternoon, the Council approved two change orders for additional costs for the Aquatic Center construction. The first change was for epoxy coating in the canteen and pavilion area in the amount of $3902.68. The second change is for the eight bathrooms and the entrance in the amount of $3157.87.


The Council also approved the lowest quote for a split rail fence at the City Park in the amount of $3360 from Piedmont Fencing and a contract with Tom McElrath Architect for the renovation of the old gymnasium on the former Middle School property. The next Centre City Council meeting is scheduled for May 23, with a work session at 4 p.m. and the meeting at 5 p.m.
