CENTRE, Ala. — Cherokee County Public Library will celebrate a half-century of stories on Thursday, January 16, to celebrate its 50th anniversary with a soft open house.
The Cherokee County Board of Trustees invites everyone to join them
for the open house and presentation as they celebrate this significant milestone at the Cherokee County Public Library.
Attends will have the honor of listening to talks from esteemed guests, board members, and people who have been integral to the library these last 50 years. The open house is from 8 AM to 5 PM with guest speakers from 12 PM to 1 PM light refreshments will be served.
While you can tour the library anytime, this commemoration is a special time to embark on a self-guided tour to explore the library’s various departments, services, programs, and changes over the past 50 years.
