Dollar General in Leesburg to be Remodeled into DG Market

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. – Dollar General is excited to announce its plans to remodel its store at 360 Industrial Boulevard in Leesburg, Ala. to the Company’s DG Market format in the coming weeks. The new store format plans to provide Cherokee County residents with an updated layout and new offerings including a selection of fresh meats, fruits, and vegetables, as well as the same categories, brands, and products customers trust Dollar General to carry. The Company currently expects the remodeled store to open by March 2023.

In June 2022, Leesburg Mayor Brandy Pierce reached out to Dollar General and inquired about the feasibility of offering his community additional access to fresh meats and produce through the Company’s DG Market format.
