Guppy's Seafood Cafe in Centre, Ribbon Cutting

CENTRE- The new “Guppy’s” Seafood Cafe at 1490 West Main Street in Centre had its ribbon cutting on Tuesday. Guppy's is owned by Mark and Kathy Newman.

Guppy's is a laid-back, come-as-you-are, family restaurant where you feel right at home. They offer lunch Monday through Friday, the dinner menu is offered Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights and on Sunday they have country cooking.

Children love the nautical theme. Most adults do, too, come to think of it. Once you walk into Guppy's, they make you feel like family it’s wonderfully warm and welcoming, so much so that you feel instantly at home. It stands out for its relaxed atmosphere, its great kids’ menu, and its huge range of dishes from salads and burgers to steak and seafood.

It’s the perfect place for some lunch favorites or amazing seafood, a place where it is both great for a special occasion and relaxed enough to take the whole family. The lunch and dinner seafood menu include crowd (and kid) pleasing favorites like the smash burgers, shrimp 'n grits, and Mimi's homemade desserts.

Guppy's Seafood Cafe is definitely a great addition here in Cherokee County. Next time you are in the Centre area and craving some delicious food stop by Guppy's you will not be displeased. The only thing better than their food is their friendly service.
