The Cherokee County Board of Education Participates in the Summer Food Service Program

CENTRE, Ala. - The Cherokee County Board of Education will be providing summer meals (breakfast and lunch) to all children without charge.


Children do not have to be students in the Board of Education system to participate in meals. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination during the meal service.


Meals will be provided at all sites listed below, showing the specified meal start and end times. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. -8:30 a.m., and lunch meals are from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.


•Cedar Bluff High School - June 10 through June 28, and specified July dates will be announced.


•Centre Elementary - June 3 through June 28


•Centre Middle - May 28 through June 28, and specified July dates will be announced.


•Cherokee County High School - June 10 through June 28


•Gaylesville High School - May 28 through June 28


•Sand Rock High School - June 10 through June 28


•Spring Garden High School - June 10 through June 28
