“Threatening E-Mail” Allegedly Sent to CED Mental Health Center Thursday Morning

(WEIS)- A large law enforcement presence was on the scene at the CED Metal Health Center on Dean Buttram Sr. Avenue in Centre.

We understand the threat was received via email this morning with the facility being immediately placed on “lock-down”.  It appears the sender of the e-mail arrived at the front door of the building a short time later.  Fortunately the door was locked and that person was unable to gain entry.

Law enforcement officials spoke with the subject.
